Over 35 Students in the 15-18 age group, got their first dose of the Covid vaccine on (Thursday) 13th January, 2022 at Sunshine High School. Under the supervision of Gorkhaland Territorial Administration Department of Health and F.W, S.D Hospital, Kurseong, 15-18 age group vaccination programme were successfully done.
The school has been welcomed the vaccination drive with the hope of, it will secure our institution in the midst of the pandemic and safeguard students against Covid-19, eventually helping restart physical classes. People above 18 years have largely been vaccinated. It is children who are still at risk and require vaccination to build immunity.
Students in the 15-18 age group of Cambridge School Kurseong and Modern School Kurseong has also been vaccinated along with Sunshine High School.
